This is my default icon for the name-sake. It's a character from the comic Kissing Chaos that frankly looks so much like Venus from my on-going story and first bout of true creativity that I love it. ^_^ The fact that she's pointing a "gun" makes me love it so much more. Too bad the characters have NOTHING alike beside design (looks).



Similarly, related to that genius that is my comic story (I will eventually refine it and make it into a hetero-manga... which as we all know is a gasp when I say "Vanessa" and "will write heterosexual relations" in the same sentence without any negative-tenses like not, never, et. al.) This is my own sketch of Darren, off of the character designs Lauren had done so long ago (in HS) and I colorized it using Adobe Photoshop. I drew this years ago, Sophomore year in college probably... that was when I scanned and colored it though. I love his eyes. I see the flaws in it, but I still love Darren too much to care. In fact, the role he originally played was completely altered by him being such a hotty. XD Lauren you're evil for that!



I gacked this and the next one from adultfanfiction.net because, well come on, anything that says Truth Serum makes you Honest deserves a gold star I think. ^_^ I think it's really funny so I like to use it. (So says my inner dork.)



The biologist in me smiles every time I see this, a sea-cow mounting a shark... come on, and the epic battle between it... The captions are hilarious, but I also just remind myself of how unfriendly of a bastard I am when I see it. XD Because I'm pretty sure if someone glomped me I'd effin' punch 'em before being friends... =_= Which I think I would agree to being their friends after punching them out of guilt and then come to like someone who'd be so random as to glomp a stranger... and be their friends for chaotic purposes. XD That's so my personality.



I made this icon out of a picture of a tornado and the destructive wake of it... looming... just seeing it coming, I can just see people reading their friends' pages... come to my entry and think... "Oh shit... not her again" LOL... <.< I'm not very trusting, I usually think even my friends hate me and just put up with me. I dunno, I guess I'm just cynical from my childhood... lol. I love tornadoes, too. It's my favorite disaster... I know it's weird to have a FAVORITE... <.< But, I've seen them, they're beautiful, I've had them go through my home town and areas I was in... but I'm not scared, merely fascinated. To top it off, when I was much younger, I had a weather book which was my absolute favorite book for so long... and constantly read about tornadoes and other forms of weather. I wonder if I still have that book, come to think of it. XD

Well, now I guess you know more about me too, after reading about inspiration for the icons and what they mean to me.

03:35 pm: I'm in a better mood than I should be. Blame endorphines! (The body's cocaine!)
I love Soccer, I love being a goalie, I really do, however, the stipend to that is that I reallllllly love it all the more when I have shin guards (and prefer to have gloves at my disposal) especially when bony mother fuckers who drank too much milk as kids slam into my very easy to bruise shin. *Has a welt longer than my palm's width* I also tend to prefer not being slammed in the glasses with a soccer-ball that knocks said glasses to the ground from my face. We lost by one point, but would have won by 1 point had the team captain/orchestrator of the thing not given into a goal that wasn't a real goal. *Sighs* Oh well, 5-6 is okay for the first game. (The other point was on extra time)

One more thing which would be super-duper-spectacular for my love of the sport-- for my pants NOT to rip all the way up my ass showing my thong on the one fucking time in a LONG time that I wore one. ^_^ LUCKILY I had a sweater to wrap around, and also luckily, my thong is cute (and even has my initials! YEAY Victoria's Secret!) Unluckily, we were in an open, outdoor soccer field near a school and a busy street, and we were playing with ~19 people, 16 of which being male.

LoL. I think I might have a bruise in the form of a line beside my ear, meaning I get stuck wearing cover-up, grr.

Other than that, my leg is uber sore and was all wobbly on the stairs, so I came home skipping extra lab hours, *sighs* but I rented a book that should help as a study aid *nods vigorously* and I also have an ice-pack to ice my shin soon (propped up til then).

The physio test wasn't bad at all so I'm happy about that... though I did think there was going to be an essay... LOL... not until April 15th, alas, but it did make me study a bit more, which is good. <.< Even if that comes in the form of Vanessa at 2 AM unable to sleep, sitting up in bed saying, hey-- I think I'll study saying I can't effing sleep. LoL.

I'm in good humors today, I need to grab some groceries. *Sighs* When I'm good and ready, dammit-- which will be no sooner than 30 minutes after I ice my leg. *Waits to get frozen ice pack*

<.< Also, I hope UPS drops off my two packages soon... really... I REALLY want that. Particularly saying how I find it funny that they can't figure out my apt number to deliver it but they'll send me a post card (you know, versus say... CALLING my fucking cellphone. Dumb asses.) 10:24 am: Wee! I  have 30+ pages to read before lab. TT_TT of the friggin eye. This is going to take forever. *Sigh*

07:07 pm: Today, two very funny things happened.

Arcady (no idea how to really spell his name) was telling me about a woman's place (basically in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant) and I was telling him if that's what a woman's place is- strap me on a penis and let me get m'self a 'wife' cuz I'll be the one working, and sure as hell not cleaning. ^_^; He really needs to stfu at medschool as he preaches what a woman is to women... *shakes head* just not bright...

The second funny thing was on my way back home from school, this random teenager was falling asleep on the subway seat next to me-- and more specifically on my shoulder. Then, he'd wake up, not apologize at all for sleeping ON me... and then after a few moments-- down goes the head, and this happened with him sleeping on my shoulder 4 times, it was adorable and I felt like a seme and thought I'd be the sort to like tap him (to the floor) but, ne, I was nice and didn't really do anything short of blush at the awkwardness when the woman across from me smiled at it... and I just shook my head and presumed I was a comfy pillow.

It really was entertaining to watch his head just slowly slide down... I'm just glad he wasn't putting too much weight on me, though it would be a lie to say I didn't wonder if he'd fall to the seat if I moved out of the way quick.

<.< At all. Apparently. ^_^; Today's lab was on male reproductive units... the histology (aka what it looks like cellularly) of the penis, epididimus, vas deferens, ductulus efferens, urethra, prostate, blah blah blah penis. Yeah, so, we haven't had lecture, our lab is a bit of a bad joke... and I was the only one not hauling ass to get out after the review which started the lab (versus being done at the end) it was a great review, and would be helpful AFTER a lecture, but he went through it too fast for something we've never seen academically. Ah, well, I'll just study cock on... my... own? <.< Wait for it... <.< Yeah, I see a problem with this.

^_^ Hooray Yaoi for being a beneficial studying tool... and by tool I mean gross anatomy OF that said tool. Yeah. Really, ultimately...this is basically chock-full of cock jokes and innuendos, well, not really full... but hey, I found out the errectile sinuses are how boys get stiffies by cutting off the venous out-flow of blood from the corpusle? arteries feeding into the sinuses gorging them with blood, and then the male doctors pointed out nerve bundles and informed us THAT is why penises are just as sensitive as they are-- wait-- so, blood and nerve... wow so why it looks inflamed and sensitive-- *refers back to yaoi reference guides* Damn it! In some of these books it's so apparent... and yet, in others-- the penis is invisible or a beam of glowing light! I is teh confoosed.

On a slightly more real-life note, today it rained and my entire feet went toe-point deep into a puddle... my feet were very very wet and cold... *nods* and I had sushi with Martin at Charlie's (a sushi place) and the salmon... well, I actually spat it out because it was quite not good. <.< That means something from me, by the by.
